Visiting a large spices market and afterwards transfer to the Sichuan Cuisine Museum for a private Cooking Class to learn some basic food processing skills, followed by a DIY lunch. In the afternoon, visiting the 2000-year old operating Irrigation System in Dujiangyan. 

Highspeed train to Leshan to visit the Giant Buddha Staue. Afterwards excursion to Qianwei. Here a railway was built in the 1930ers to transport coal from local mines. Nowadays no mining anymore and the steam train has become a very popular nostalgic attraction. At leisurely pace you travel by the steam train through the picturesque countryside. 

Transfer to Emeishan. Mt. Emei is one of the four most sacred buddhism mountains. Park bus to the cable car station and gondola ride to the mountain and visiting numerous temples, pavillons, statues. Overnight at the mountain foot. 

Highspeed train to Congjiang with a transition in Guiyang. Pickup and transfer to Zhaoxing, the biggest town of Dong People. Strolling in the Zhaoxing Town and visiting the Drum Towers, landmark of a Dong Village.   

Visiting the Zhanli Dong Village in the morning. There are two springs in Zhanli with magic power for gender determination. In the afternoon, halfday hiking downhills from Tang'an village to Zhaoxing. 

Highspeed train to Guilin. Meet and greet by your local guide. Transfer to Yangshuo.

Bike tour along the Yulong River, enjoying the most idyllic landscapes in the region composed of hills, brooks and rice fields, followed by a bamboo rafting tour. Free at leisure in the afternoon. 

Transfer to the railway station Guilin. Highspeed train to Hongkong. Transfer to Hotel.
