Arrival in Kunming. Meet and greet by your local guide. Visiting the old downtown and the Greenlake park. 

Car ride to Shilin and visiting the Stone Forrests. Afterwards transfer to Jianshui. Jianshui is an ancient town of 1000 years history and has many historic sites. 

Visiting the Confucius Temple, the second largest of ist kind in China, the private Garden of Family Zhu and the Tuanshan Village. Afterwards Transfer to Yuanyang. 

One day trekking in the rice terraces in Yuanyang and visiting en route some authentic villages of Hani ethnic minority. 

Transfer back to Kunming by car. Take a flight to Tengchong, a city at the border to Myanmar. Transfer to Vinetree Tented Resort in the Gaoligong Mountains. 

One day trekking in the Jungles of the Mt. Gaoligong. You can start the trekking directly from the resort, which is located just at the Jungle. 

Free at leisure. Enjoy the resort and relax yourself. 

Transfer to Tengchong. Fly via Kunming to Shangri-la. Transfer to hotel, followed by a strolling in the old town. 

Visiting the Songtselin Monastery and the Shangri-la Nationalpark. 

Car ride to Lijiang. En route visiting the Tiger Leap Gorges with a short trekking in the middle section of the gorges. 

Lijiang is a famous old city, a UNESCO world culture heritage. Visiting the Black-Dragon-Pond Park, the Dongba Museum and the former Residence of Regent MU. 

The traditional inhabitants in Lijiang are Naxi People. They have their own characters and very unique traditions and cutsoms which are still practised in their daily life. Excursion to 2 Naxi villages to explore these more. 

Car ride to Dali with an excursion to Old Town Shaxi on the way. Shaxi was once an important trading place on the  teahorse caravan road leading from Yunnan into Burma and Tibet. 

One day sight seeing tour in Dali to the Three Pagode Temple, the Xizhou Market and a boat tour on the picturesque Erhai Lake. 

Transfer to aiport. Depart.
